Admission of Members:
- Maintain high standards of professional conduct
of business upholding this code all times
- Demonstrate appropriate attributes and qualities
to competently service the needs of students/parents
- Establish appropriate resources and procedures
required to provide professional services to students
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of information
about students and communications with students
- Refrain from unjustified criticism of other educational
advisors and institutions and seek to resolve any
conflict of advice directly with the party concerned
in a professional manner
- Maintain accountability to both students and
institutions
- Actively seek to promote professional development
and keep themselves informed of current developments
in their fields.
- Provide students and institutions wit information
they need and avoid withholding relevant information
- Advertise in ethical manner by not engaging in
false, misleading or damaging messages
- Work with institutions and professional bodies
as a provider of high quality educational advisor
- Always act in the best interests of the student,
while respecting institutional policies, statutory
and legal.
